Tonga - Letter from Willy

Willy is from Tonga and one of our young leaders who came to New Zealand for training earlier this year. He's a radio host and leads weekly Bible studies at the High School in Nuku'alofa. Willy is an effective and enthusiastic worker in the Lord's harvest (as you will see in his email) and we're asking God for many more workers in the harvest like him.

"Dear Graham, Malo e lelei from Tonga
He who has started the good work is faithful and just to accomplished and that is our Lord Jesus Christ. The Lord has really bless me during my time in NewZealand. i came back totally change. The way i view the work here in Tonga is so different then before. How i long to see souls coming to the Lord and there is a burdern in my heart for the lost, it is so strong than before, but the most of this is my desire to see them being discipled equiped and encouraged in the Lord. Graham i'm sorry if you may thought that i'm too emotional. This is not emotional this is reality, the Lord has layed a word in my heart is that the closer i'm to Him ,i will see things through His eyes His heartbeat for the lost will be in me.

Thankyou for helping me catching the vision and maybe God will used our radio in the pacific for the last harvest before His return. I just want to share a little testimony, that will encourage our prayer partners, and supporters. This is about the strike that is going on here in Tonga [Graham's note - for the first time ever in Tonga, government workers have been on strike and there has been a lot of civil unrest]. This strike has really affect everything and in the mist of this strike God began to move through the heart of His people, by using this christian radio station. One of the princess, sent one of her prayer worrior here in our christian radio staion to announce onair a call for a prayer (prayer chain) for the nation. They ask me to announced it, but i gave it to this lady to do it for herself. As she began to announced it ,she broke in tears and weep as if this problem where on herself. This reminds me of what happen in the book of 2 Chronical chapter 20:1-30.

Souls are being saved in schools after this strike take place, you can see tears running in their check. One girl(14 years old )broke into tears holding me,i was been touch by what happen in the school (our first bible class after the strike)I"m talking about high school. Last fridaynight was my fist class [Graham's note - a new Bible study at the radio station] sharing to them what i have learned, it was a blessing. They want the class to be held on every Friday night, so we conclude that it will be every fort night. Paula and Sela are very happy with their new bibles and his bible study class is just increasing. They have thier class on friday night, sat and sunday night (that is a lot of people)

Sometimes we here in the radio, felt as if we are standing alone, and being the only christian radio station, a vessel where people run too, to seek the trueth and where christ is being told, we thought that we are fighting the battle alone. But God just remind me, that i'm in a big family and there are people praying for us around the world and that is you helping and supporting us, togehter we build the Kingdom of God.

I just want to thankyou for praying and supporting us, may God bless. From just a servant and slave of Christ from the island.
