PROCEEDS from a South Island sponsored cycle tour
will benefit Christian Radio Stations in the Pacific Islands.
Cliff and Julie, supporters of Missionary Ventures NZ and UCB Pacific Partners, cycled from Bluff to Picton (the length of New Zealand’s South Island) to raise money for Christian radio stations in the Pacific Islands. They covered the 1085k (674 miles) in just 12 days. Congratulations to Cliff and Julie for this great achievement and their willingness to help raise funds for Pacific Island Christian Radio,” said Andrew Marriott of Missionary Ventures NZ.
The UCB Pacific Partners network, through its radio stations in the Marshall Islands, Tonga, Papua New Guinea and the Solomon Islands, is able to broadcast Christian music and programming (including discipleship and leadership training programs) to local Christians in the Islands. |

In December of last year Cliff cycled from Plimmerton, in Wellington, to Torbay, on Auckland’s North Shore, to raise money for the establishment of Christian radio in the Marshall Islands. His efforts (along with a similar venture by the Christian Motorcyclists Association of New Zealand) helped to raise over $7000 for projects in the Marshall Islands at that time.
