PNG Off-air but still ministering

Most of the money needed to get Laif FM back on air has been donated and we have purchased the transmitter parts and are ready to ship them to Wewak

Tony emails his thanks
"Hallo olgeta
[means hello everyone in PNG Pidgin]. . . .
thank you so much for all the prayer and the support to the radio ministry here . . . you Guise a real blessing, some times I just felt encouraged it's so wonderful to be partnership in the Gospel, as we pray for one and other, God is doing something on the other side, Glory to God."

But we still need about USD 600.00 ( NZD800, AUD730, Euro440) for shipping and customs duty, etc.
And we also need your prayers . . . that the parts arrive in Wewak in good condition
and that Tony will be able to fix the transmitter so we don't have to fly a technician from New Zealand

Many Tok Tok readers were blessed to read about the work Tony and the team is doing at Christian radio Laif FM in Wewak, Papua New Guinea

Some more testimonies and pictures from Tony
"The radio has touched many lives, I would never know, unless they come to us and let us know, but according to the responds I got from the listeners its' encouraging . . .

Like I got this one from a lady she is a teacher and here husband is not a Christian, but she always listens to this . . radio, she finally made decision to accept Jesus Christ as her Lord and personal saviour. One Sunday I haven to be at the church where she worships, she gave a testimony that Her decision to come to the Lord was through the radio, Graham I believe she is one of the many that have made the decision to come to the Lord, But it's all the seed we are sowing."

These are primary school boy in one of the schools here, they like hanging around the radio station because, they felt this is the place to be, most of this kids parents are not Christian, but we hope as the ministry continues they will make decisions, Gram I believe we are putting up a bate, for the fish to come . . .

These are some youths I prayed with when they came over to the radio station, and they are a lot too but I haven't got some of their pictures.

[Here are some] catholic youths, It was a big brake through for us to go into their church and share the word of God with them, the response was very positive I was encouraged too. These are some of the youths the radio has impacted their life too, God is doing some wonderful things here in Wewak . . .

Yesterday was an exciting moment for me and the staffs. We Baptized three people who received Jesus Christ as their Lord and savior, through this radio broadcast ministry, It was Sharon and her other three friends. Yesterday we took them to the sea after the church and baptized them. Sharon is standing third on the left and next to her is her friend Fiona and Merlyn and Sharon's sister with her Husband who also got baptized.I was really encouraged when I saw all this. At some point I got discouraged and thaught I may not be doing what God wants me to do and thaught about quitting, But after I saw all this it really encouraged me to continue in the ministry.

But now I realized that those times we were sowing the seed of the word of God into hearts of those who were listening. Up until now these seeds starting to grow and produce after their own kind. I need to make plenty of room to disciple them as God brings them in. So I am making some strategic plan to disciple them at the Laif FM grounds here in wewak

Tenkyu tru long halvim bilong yupela long reachim ol dipela yangpela manmeri bilong Papua niugini long tok bilong God. God papa antap I ken blessim yupela olgeta na mekim gut long yupela." [Thank you so much for your generous support as we preach the Gospel to the people of Papua new Guinea. We pray our Father God may bless you.]
