What better way to reach these isolated people than by radio? The UCB Pacific Partners plan - Christian radio for every Pacific islander (1) build a small Christian radio station and studio in the main town, (2) bring Christian radio programs into the country via our regional satellite network, and (3) train local volunteers to make local language programs (including local 'Radio Bible School' discipleship training programs) that can be mixed in with the regional program from the satellite. Then . . . (4) as finance is raised , our local workers from the main station help us install secondary relay stations in the remote areas of the country. So the people in these isolated areas can benefit from the same Christian programming as the listeners in the main town, into the remote villages. .
